Mutfak is a social integration and skill building program in context of a kitchen for Syrian refugee mothers and children in Istanbul (Turkey).

Istanbul hosts more than 330.000 Syrian refugees who left refugee camps and settled in collective centers in suburban parts of the city. Their future is uncertain due to political changes, new regulations and policies depending on the civil war in Syria.

Mutfak program aims to allow Syrian mothers mix with the host community in a safe environment and equip children with language and vocational skills that are valuable wherever they may settle next.
