Happy new year / feliz año nuevo

In the night from 20.-21.06. we celebrated the andinian winter solstice in beautiful Aymara tradition with lots of andinian music and dance the whole night through until sunrise.

En la noche del 20. al 21.06. celebramos el solsticio del invierno andino en maravillosa tradicón aymara con mucha musica andina y baile toda la noche hasta amanecer.

​The original cultures aymara y quechua share the same spirit of celebration ancestral to recieve the arrival of a new circle since millions of years. Ancient cosmovision of profund respect for nature which invites to celebrate the solstice of winter with music, dance and petitionary prayers to ask Tata Inti (sun) for light and warmth for our Pachamama (earth).

Las culturas originarias aymara y quechua comparten el mismo espíritu de celebración ancestral para recibir la llegada de un nuevo ciclo desde hace miles de años. Cosmovisión milenaria de profundo respeto a la naturaleza que invita a celebrar el solsticio de invierno con música, bailes y rogativas que piden al Tata Inti (sol) luz y calor para nuestra Pachamama (tierra).

​With offerings of coca leafs and alcohol to the fire people thank for the past year. The typical andinian music consists of a deep bass rythm from leather trambones and divers samponias (pan flutes) that form the melodie by asking and answering instruments.

Con ofrendas de coca hojas y alcohol al fuego gente agradecen el año pasado. La typica musica andina consiste de un profundo ritmico bass de trambones y distintos samponias que forman la melodia de instrumentos que preguntan y otros que responden.

It’s a fest full of traditional music, dance, peace and harmony. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYBODY!!!
